Before you start

Update RotaSelect through Google Play and keep your phone unlocked. Wireless debugging is requested only in Advanced mode. Simple mode does not require pairing.

STEP 01

Sign in with Google

Your account protects access and links your subscription to Google Play. Use the same account used for the purchase or access granted to you.

  • 1Tap Sign in with Google.
  • 2Select the account used in Google Play.
  • 3Check that the subscription or access status is ACTIVE.
Changing phones

Sign in with the same Google Account and use “Check subscription” if access does not appear immediately.

STEP 02

Choose the mode and apps

You can change modes later. Select one or more apps to read.

Shows indicators for selected offers without taking automatic actions.

Reading and actions

Reads selected apps and may act automatically only on the Uber and 99 apps you enable.

STEP 03 · ADVANCED ONLY

Connect RotaSelect to Android

Advanced mode needs this local connection to carry out selected actions. The assistant opens the required screens and attempts to recover an existing authorized connection.

  • 1In the Setup card, tap Connect RotaSelect to Android.
  • 2Enable Developer options when requested.
  • 3Open Wireless debugging and select Pair with code.
  • 4Keep the code open, respond to the RotaSelect notification and enter the six digits.
  • 5Return to the app and wait for automatic confirmation.
On some Samsung phones

Android opens the general “Developer options” page. Scroll and open “Wireless debugging” manually.

STEP 04

Enable essential permissions

Both permissions are used in Simple and Advanced modes. Offer processing takes place on the device.

  • 1Under Accessibility, enable “RotaSelect — offer analysis” and confirm Android's notice.
  • 2Under Notification access, allow RotaSelect to detect compatible app alerts.
  • 3Also allow RotaSelect's own notifications to see status and connection alerts.
  • 4Return to the app and wait for the indicators to turn green.

STEP 05

Prevent background interruptions

Use “Unrestricted” and complete the checks shown for your phone brand. Some items require your confirmation because Android cannot verify them automatically.

  2. Battery → Background usage limits.
  3. Add RotaSelect to Never sleeping apps.

  1. Enable autostart.
  2. Under Battery saver, choose No restrictions.
  3. In Advanced mode, also follow the security preparation shown by the app.
  4. Lock RotaSelect in the recent apps menu.

  1. App info → Battery.
  2. Choose Unrestricted or allow background activity.
  3. Return to RotaSelect and mark the items you reviewed.

STEP 06

Adjust your preferences

Changes are saved automatically—there is no “Save rules” button. In Advanced mode, select which supported apps may take actions and enable only the criteria you want to use.

  • 1Adjust total amounts, per-distance amounts and acceptance or decline criteria.
  • 2Customize metrics, palette, size, position, opacity and summary duration.
  • 3Use the floating button to switch modes, apps and values without returning to RotaSelect.
  • 4Enable Offer history to filter, delete and share each offer as a RotaSelect image.

How do you know it is complete?

The Setup card reads COMPLETE. In Advanced mode, automatic actions only apply to Uber and/or 99 selected under “Automatic actions”.

Quick help

If something does not turn green

Check these items before repeating the entire setup.

Are you in Simple mode?

Wireless debugging does not appear in this mode. This is expected: Simple mode only reads and summarizes offers.

Pairing did not finish?

In Advanced mode, generate a new code, keep its window open and respond to the RotaSelect notification.

Restarted or changed networks?

Turn on Wi-Fi and Wireless debugging. The app attempts recovery; generate another code only if requested.

The offer did not appear?

Confirm that the app is selected for reading. In inDrive, open the offer detail.

No automatic action?

Use Advanced mode and check that Uber or 99 is selected under “Automatic actions” and the desired rule is active.

Floating menu missing?

Open “Card appearance”, enable “Floating button” and confirm that accessibility remains enabled.
