Privacy and support

Learn how RotaSelect handles your data and which options are available to manage your account.

1. Controller and contact

RotaSelect is an independent application that supports users’ routines. Privacy questions can be sent to contato@rotaselect.com; for assistance and diagnostics, use suporte@rotaselect.com. The application is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or operated by compatible third-party services.

2. Data processed

Primary processing takes place on the device.

Information used while the application operates is processed locally. Sending information to support is optional, initiated by the user, and limited to the data described in this policy.

3. Accessibility features

With the user’s express authorization, RotaSelect uses Android accessibility and local processing exclusively to provide the functions configured in the application.

Information required for operation is processed on the device and is not sent to remote storage during this use.

The user may disable these functions and the accessibility permission at any time in Android settings.

4. Diagnostic reports

When the user taps Send report and confirms, RotaSelect transmits recent technical records to investigate failures. The report may contain the device model, Android and application versions, screen resolution, technical configuration, permission and service status, monitored apps, reader profile versions, event dates and times, reading stage durations, and records of errors, decisions and actions performed by RotaSelect.

Starting with Alpha-5 build 207, the diagnostic report contains only technical logs and operating metadata, without screenshots. Submission does not require selecting scenarios, specifying times or completing a form. Local logs are retained for up to 24 hours, and the report includes available recent records within size limits. Technical logs do not include passwords or messages. The linked Google Account email address and a unique code accompany the submission for identification and support follow-up.

Earlier versions supporting diagnostic images: these versions may keep up to six screenshots of reading or tap incidents in private storage, with a 24-hour expiry and cleanup when processing or accessing records. Screenshots do not appear in the gallery or Android backups. In those versions, the user can preview and optionally select up to two screenshots before submission. Images may show addresses and details visible in the offer and are sent only when selected.

The report is sent over an encrypted connection to RotaSelect’s secure support center, where it is organized as a ticket and accessed only by authorized staff. Images received from earlier versions accompany the private ticket envelope for up to 30 days and may be reviewed to correct and validate the app’s recognition. A file voluntarily provided to support receives the same protection controls.

5. External services

RotaSelect uses specialized providers for authentication, application distribution, purchase or subscription management, hosting, and secure support center operations.

These providers process only the data required for the purposes described in this policy. RotaSelect does not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

6. Security, retention, and age

Data transmitted to services used by RotaSelect uses encrypted connections and access controls. Account and access information is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service or until account deletion, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Original technical records associated with tickets are configured for temporary retention of up to 30 days. Ticket metadata, diagnostic summaries, notes, and support history may be retained while support is in progress and afterward for the period reasonably necessary for technical history, abuse prevention, security, service improvement, and compliance with legal obligations. Depending on the circumstances, these records may be deleted or anonymized when their purpose ends. Requests related to a report may be submitted with its tracking code and will be assessed in light of those needs and obligations.

RotaSelect is intended exclusively for users aged 18 or older.

7. Account and data deletion

In the application, open RotaSelect Account and tap Delete my account. The associated identity will be removed. Account deletion does not automatically remove support tickets and reports, which remain subject to the retention criteria described above. If you no longer have access to the application, use the public request page below.

Before deletion, cancel any subscription under Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a charge managed by Google Play. Records Google must retain for tax, fraud prevention, or legal obligations remain subject to Google’s own rules.

8. Cookies and website browsing

On RotaSelect’s public presentation pages, we do not use advertising cookies, audience measurement cookies, or behavioral tracking.

The website follows the browser’s preferred language for Portuguese and English. If you choose PT or EN, that preference is saved in this browser (localStorage) for future visits. The saved preference stays in the browser and is not used for tracking.

Navigation between pages may temporarily store the link destination and transition time in the tab’s storage (sessionStorage). This prevents the opening animation from repeating. The information is consumed on the destination page, considered for up to 15 seconds, and disappears when the tab session ends. It is not sent to the server or used to identify visitors.

The website queries our services to display the public app version and published reviews. These requests do not send authentication cookies. Hosting and service providers may process technical connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver content and protect the infrastructure.

Account and support areas have their own authentication and functional storage features for the requested service. This description of the public pages does not mean that third-party sign-in services do not use cookies.

You can control cookies and site data through your browser’s privacy settings. If we introduce optional cookies that rely on consent, we will offer choices before enabling them, including options to refuse and change your decision.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when features or legal obligations change. The current version will be published at this address.
